Craig of That Dapper Chap attends the Dune SS16 Press day and gets an exclusive look at the new styles for the coming season
|The pink and blue suede brogues|
Dune have come a long way from their small concession in a fashion store on London’s Oxford Street. They now have over 50 stores across the UK, not to mention the 169 concessions in other high street stores such as Topman, House of Fraser, Selfridges and John Lewis.

For Summer 2016 Dune’s in-house design team have come up with another great collection of footwear and we have a wide choice of styles to choose from. Brogues are still a winner but Dune are offering some great summer colours like those above in a sky blue and baby pink suede.

Loafers are still very big news, be they tasseled or plain, formal or casual like the drivers below. Again these are coming in a fresh ice cream colour palette. We’re also seeing something a little different with contrast stitching, adding a twist and a bit of interested to our feet next season.

Dune are also offering up texture, a lot of texture. Think fabrics like suede and plaited leather, think embossing and mock crock. Pattern is big too and we have a choice of wonderful summer prints in colours akin to those seen in Moroccan markets, really conjuring up images of that two weeks in the sun.

Wherever your summer holiday takes you, you’ll find something suitable in the new Dune collection which will drop soon, so grab that holiday brochure and put your feet up, adorned in a new pair of dune shoes of course!
