Craig introduces the Hammond & Co Savile Row suit collection exclusively available at Debenhams
It’s often said that a suit to a woman is what lingerie is to a man. That said, a well fitted suit is a must have in every mans wardrobe. Maybe we can’t all afford to get a bespoke suit made in Savile Row, but thanks to designer and entrepreneur Patrick Grant, we can get the look at a fraction of the price. Introducing the Savile Row suit range by Hammond & Co, exclusive to Debenhams
Offering a traditional look straight from the heart of Savile Row, Hammond & Co. suits offer a little twist on the standard suit along with contemporary styling. My slim fit double breasted suit is perfect for office or wedding. Versatile in its wearability it’s a comfortable and well fitting suit.
With a number of suits in the new range including 2 piece suits, 3 piece, single and double breasted in various colours, there is a style for everyone. I chose the charcoal flannel double breasted suit. At £279 for the jacket and trousers, it has a 2×6 button fastening. It has a peak lapel, 4 button cuff and left and right straight pockets plus breast pocket and side vents.
My particular suit is 100% wool and has a 100% polyester lining. The trousers are flat front with a double hook and bar fastening waistband and belt loops. They have slant side pockets with single back hip pocket. The suit is dry clean only.
I styled my suit with the Hammond & Co silver dog tooth bow tie reduced to just £8 to add a dapper touch to the proceedings, and the Hammond & Co grey herringbone wool baker boy hat. Now £28.80 down from £36.
Also with the suit I wore the Hammond & Co pink mini grid check shirt. This easy iron slim fit shirt has double cuffs and comes with it’s own cuff links. Now down from £39 to just £19.50 it’s a bargain in 100% cotton.
Shot on location at the stunning Butley Priory, this suit is befitting of the environment; super stylish and sophisticated. Butley Priory is a beautiful gatehouse dating back to 1171 which is available to hire as a wedding venue, a family weekend away, a birthday, or for any event you like. It sleeps up to 11 in it’s super stylish rooms and the grounds are to die for. I’m slightly biased of course having married here in 2012!
So, if you’re looking for a new suit and want something a little more luxurious than the standard offerings, take a browse around Debenhams.
What do you think of the suit I chose? Maybe you’d have chosen a single breasted one? Maybe a different colour? Whatever your thoughts I’d love to hear from you so feel free to leave me a comment below.
