Craig shares details of the 2018 Henley Royal Regatta where he attended as a guest of Bremont watches.
With the British summer in full swing it was once again time for the Henley Royal Regatta, the most British of events and the largest racing regatta in the world. I was once again invited along by luxury watch Brand Bremont and it was an incredible day.
On arrival we visited the Bremont pop up shop to check out the stunning watches and the new pieces in the collection. It was then time for champagne before a short boat trip across the river for lunch.
Along with my Moss Bros jacket, Marks & Spencer linen trousers and panama hat I looked fittingly suited for the Henley Royal Regatta. All that was missing was a great timepiece and I thank Bremont for the amazing Jaguar MKII watch which finished off my look perfectly.
This beautiful watch is a modified calibre 13 1⁄4’’’ BE-50AE automatic chronometer with a 42 hour minimum power reserve. It has a polished and coated stainless steel Bremont Trip-Tick® case construction and is water resistant to 10 ATM. The strap is a perforated blue calf-leather racing strap with polished stainless steel pin buckle and additional strap. It’s available from Bremont for £5,195
With perfect weather (if a little warm) stunning food and great company I had an amazing day. The Henley Royal Regatta really is an iconic event and one which is firmly stamped in my calendar. So, it leaves me to thank Bremont watches once again for the invitation and for completing my Henley look with a stunning timepiece. Roll on next year!
