Craig shares details of footwear brand Silver Street and shows off his top five styles.
Everybody knows that shoes maketh the man. People pay a lot of attention to your feet, more than you know, and you are judged by what you wear on them. That’s why it’s important to put your best foot forward and ensure that your shoes reflect your style, professionalism and character
Silver street London offer a fine selection of wing tip and oxford brogues, combined with sleek derby’s, monk shoes, Chelsea, chukka and lace up boots. All available in an array of luxury leather’s, unique finishes and rich suede’s.
Their splendid compilation of leather shoes and boots take inspiration from their love for their English footwear heritage. Created in Leicester – the heart of England’s footwear manufacturing, each individually crafted design offers an affordable yet impeccable blend of tradition and modernity. Every design has been developed and nurtured where footwear truly has its roots. For this sponsored post I’ve chosen and styled my top five pairs for you.
The Plaited Loafers
First up are these plaited summer loafers. Perfect for warmer weather as they allow air to circulate, thanks for the open weave of the leather. I’ve put them together with a cool summery look using a linen blend floral shirt from Zara and navy linen trousers from Primark.

The Classic Business Shoe
Another staple shoe for every man is a smart black shoe. These ‘Mortimer’ wing tip Derby shoes with punching detail are just the ticket. Great with a suit for formal events or the office, they can also be work a little more casually as I have done here.
For this look I’m wearing a summery short sleeved chambray shirt and wider leg pleated pin stripe trousers, both from the FoR range at Burton Menswear.

The Traditional Brogues
Every man should have a great pair of tan brogues. These ‘Cannon’ brogues are great with jeans or equally good with a suit, they are a classic and versatile style. Crafted from leather upper, these brogues have a round toe and lace up fastening. They also feature punched patterned detailing and a wing tip to the front along with a low heel all on a sturdy grip sole. I’ve styled them with a smart casual look in blues, wearing chino’s, chambray shirt, knitted tie and cardigan.

The Cool Chelsea Boots
Chelsea boots are another great shoe for the modern man. These ‘Carnaby’ boots are a little different as they are in a burgundy leather and have a cool paisley elastic. I’ve styled them with skinny black jeans from Primark and a paisley shirt from Hawes & Curtis.

The Double Monks
Great with a suit or with jeans and chinos, these ‘Bourne’ brown double monk shoes a very versatile. I’ve styled mine with some statement checked trousers from Topman and a plain white skinny fit T Shirt from Burton Menswear.
