Craig updates us on his progress with teeth straightening and whitening from Your Smile Direct
A few months ago I shared with you the story of my chipped tooth which resulted in an extraction and an ugly gap in my lower teeth. Enter Your Smile Direct who provided me with sets of clear plastic aligners to straighten my smile. You can read the previous post HERE. 12 sets of aligners later and I’m ready for the final stage in the smile brightening process.
With 12 sets of different aligners that I changed every two weeks, my teeth are now much straighter and the gap in my lower teeth, while not completely gone, has closed considerably, to a point where it is virtually unnoticeable.
The next stage is two fold. I am now on my last set of retainers and in the next couple of weeks I will switch from wearing them 22 hours a day to just wearing them at night. It is important to continue to wear them at night as not doing so may result in your teeth reverting back to their previous positions.
The final step is whitening, and Your Smile Direct covers this too with an easy to use system.
The teeth whitening kit contains a pre whitening stain remover. UV light with mouth guard, professional whitening tooth paste, whitening gel and a tooth gloss. Full instructions are on the back of the box and it couldn’t be simpler.
First you scrub your teeth with the pre whitening stain remover. Once that’s done add 5ml of the whitening gel to the top and bottom of the mouth guard. Turn on the UV light and pop it in your mouth for 15-20 minutes.
Once that’s done, brush your teeth with the professional whitening tooth paste and then the gloss. Done! It’s no more complicated than that. Whiter teeth in under 30 minutes.
I am super pleased with the results of my straightening and whitening and I can recommend Your Smile Direct as a company to use if you’re considering doing the same. Get straight teeth using invisible braces for an average of 20 weeks, for just £41 per month or a single payment of £1,399.
