Craig shares his favourite looks from this years Jermyn Street Catwalk for London Fashion Week Mens
The Jermyn Street catwalk show at London Fashion Week Men’s is always a great show and this year was no exception. This year saw the heart of St James’s transform into an open air catwalk to host a series of fashion shows on Jermyn Street, celebrating the area as the original home of menswear.
VIP guests David Gandy, Jim Chapman, Hu Bing, Eric Underwood, Dougie Poynter, Johannes Huebl, Caroline Rush (Chief Executive, BFC) and Dylan Jones (Chairman, LFWM) enjoyed the shows and the atmosphere on the pedestrianised street.
As the photographers crowded for space to snap pics of the impeccably dressed models, guests took their seat in anticipation of a great show. The morning saw over 25 St James’s brands participate in a runway show which included heritage brands such as New & Lingwood, Harvie & Hudson and Lock & Co alongside contemporary names Jigsaw, Cubitts and Sunspel in a see-now-buy-now format. The afternoon saw three further St James’s shows open to the public – the only official LFWM events especially for consumers. British family run perfumers, Floris provided the scent for the catwalk.
That said, here are my fave looks from the show. Enjoy!
What do you think of the looks that Jermyn Street put together for us this year? Is there something that you’d love to get your hands on? A statement yellow double breasted jacket perhaps or a super sharp suit? If so, take a walk down Jermyn Street on your next visit to the capital. You won’t be disappointed!
