Craig shows us some great grooming products from ManCave including their shower gel and moisturiser and tells us how to own the bathroom
ManCave have been around for a little while now, 7 years in fact if you include the 2 years of product development. All of their products are packed full of top quality natural products and essential oils. Free from any harmful ingredients ManCave is a range of products for the modern man who takes his grooming range seriously and also appreciate animal welfare as none of ManCave products are tested on animals and are Vegan friendly.
No faffing around, us modern men need a solid range of products that fit in with our lifestyle. Each product in the range does exactly what it says it will do and they do it well. So, If you’re in the market for some new and exciting grooming products then give ManCave a look as they offer a great range of products for guys like us. Today we’re looking at their shower gel, moisturiser, shampoo, face wash and face scrub.
While this is a paid partnership with ManCave, for me honesty is paramount, and all text and opinions are my own.
The Lemon & Oak Shower Gel
First up is the lemon and oak shower gel. Using Aloe Vera and lemon oil to gently cleanse the skin the shower gel has a great fresh and woody scent. It also contains vetiver, bergamot and rosemary but no Parabens, sulphates (SLS SLES), synthetic dye, petrochemicals which is always a bonus! I’m a fan of this shower gel, which ManCave describes as ‘Uplifting and invigorating’ and who am I to argue with that! If you’d like to try it get over to their Amazon shop as it’s now on offer for just £1.99 for 200ml
The Original Moisturiser
Every guy needs a great moisturiser and if you’re one of those guys who thinks that men shouldn’t moisturise, you’re wrong! Your skin is exposed to hundreds of damaging products and UV rays every day, so look after your skin or you’ll look old before your time! I use mine twice a day, every day.
Using natural borage it’s packed with caffeine, shear butter, vitamin E, UV absorbers and 12, yes 12 essential oils. This moisturiser also smells great, thanks for Man Caves niche fragrances. It’s a good consistency too, neither too thick or too light it’s non greasy and it absorbs quickly which is great for us guys with busy lifestyles. On offer at Amazon right now for £3.49 for 100ml
The Willowbark Face Wash
Another product that contains 12 essential oils this face wash has anti inflammatory, antiseptic and antioxidant qualities, which is great if your skin is prone to spots as all of these will help ease that. Containing willow bark, green tea and spinach. With a super fresh scent this wash will cleanse the skin without drying. Again, cruelty free it’s also vegan friendly. Currently at £2.97 for 100ml.
The Olive Stone Face Scrub
Not something I’d recommend using every day, but a product that should be on your bathroom shelf for use on a weekly basis to remove dead skin cells and refresh your boat race. The Olivestone Face Scrub is again jam packed with essential oils and natural ingredients.
The product contains fine grains of olive stone to exfoliate and rejuvenate and left my skin feeling smooth and refreshed. Now available for £3.49 for 100ml.
The Caffeine Shampoo
Caffeine, as we know is a stimulant, and it’s a great addition to a shampoo as it helps stimulate hair growth, so it’s a great product if you’re starting to notice that dreaded thinning patch that a lot of us have. I use a caffeine shampoo all the time.
Along with the caffeine there’s L-arginine, Shea Butter, Panthenol and 8 Essential Oils to clean and moisturise your hair and prevent dryness which can cause itching. Another vegan friendly product it’s yours for just £2.75 for 100ml which is a great price for a shampoo like this.
Overall I’m a fan of ManCave products, the fact that they are vegan friendly and cruelty free is a massive plus point. The natural ingredients may make you think that these products are a bit flouncy, but I’m impressed by the quality and the ingredients used in the range. Smell is also a vital component when choosing grooming products and I can tell you first hand that all of the products smell really good unlike other products I’ve tried in the past. All of the products I’ve reviewed for you today have a masculine fresh scent and there’s a wide range of products available in addition to those I’ve showcased.
If you want to own the bathroom, give them a look, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. If you do, feel free to drop me a line to let me know what you thought of the range. I’d love to hear from you.
